Memories of Karim Mojtahedi in his own words

Professor Karim Mojtahedi, a veteran professor of philosophy, passed away at the age of 93. He was chosen as the lasting figure of philosophy in the first conference of lasting figures in 2001. In 2021, he was selected as the best scientist in the field of humanities and received the Iranian Nobel Prize from the Alborz Foundation.

According to Artmag.ir quoted by ISNA, Heidar Arshadhi, the CEO of Alborz Cultural Foundation, regarding the selection of the late Karim Mojtahedi as the best humanities scientist, said: In 2021, at the same time as the Corona era, the 59th Alborz Bakhsh Award scientists was held, and in this period, after examining hundreds of Iran’s prestigious scientists in the field of humanities, among the top three scientists in this field, the late Dr. Karim Mojtahedi was selected as the chosen person. He is due to many scientific measures to introduce Islamic philosophy, criticism of Western thought, education of many students, authoring of many books, translation of many works, also, because they were the pillars of Iranian philosophy, the jury awarded them the Alborz Award for the best scientist in the field of humanities.

The CEO of Alborz Cultural Foundation mentioned a memory of the time when the Iranian Nobel Prize was announced to Dr. Mojtahedi: When we got in touch with the professor, we went to him with a handful of flowers and informed the deceased about the prize that he had won, Mr. Mojtahedi too, he humbly answered us that I am 90 years old and give these awards to younger people to motivate them, but at this moment we explained how they were selected and then they were happy.
