Farewell Ceremony for Atila Pesyani, Theatre, Television and Cinema Artist

The farewell ceremony for Atila Pesyani, theater, television and cinema artist, was held with the presence of artists and fans of this actor.

Atila Pesyani, after enduring a period of illness, died on October 6, 2023, in Paris, France.

According to Artmag.ir, during the last few weeks, he had traveled to France for a personal trip, and due to the complications of cancer, he had to be admitted to a hospital there, and there he said goodbye to the mortal world.

At the farewell ceremony for Atila Pesyani, Iraj Rad, the chairman of the board of directors of Khane Teatar, as a representative of this trade union, expressed his condolences to his family, artists and the nation of Iran on the death of Atila Pesyani and continued: We have gathered to see off a loved one and from the services and We are grateful for his many efforts in his work.

Iraj Rad, mentioned Pesiani as a child of the theater who was always present on the stage and behind the scenes and in the rehearsal and performance halls since childhood, due to the job of his artist mother, Jamila Sheikhi, and got acquainted with the essence of the theater and found a knowledge that is less Someone has achieved it, and when he reached his teenage years, he started working on his own and was always diligent.

He went on to say: The effects that the drama workshop and some of its artists had on Atila led him to a new form of theater and he was steadfast in experimental theater and worked hard in this field together with his family.

He continued: The late Atila Pesyani did valuable work in other fields besides theater. He worked many times in his life and was not oblivious to trade union activities. He had an effective presence in the houses of theaters and artists and cinema houses.

Iraj Rad added: We are grateful for his efforts and services. His soul is happy and his memory is always alive with his lasting works. The young people he raised continue to carry the banner of experimental theater.

Next, Manouchehr Shahsavari, the producer of the cinema, read the statement of Khane Cinema, which in part stated:
It is a sad day. Atila was not supposed to leave us so soon. Atila was full of passion for life and art. Like a playful child, he loved new experiences and thus paved the way for many other young people. The actors of any movie or theater never die and are resurrected from one role to another. He is alive with the magic of cinema as long as cinema is alive.

Shahsavari said: Atila Pesyani, has not left us, he is still in the cinema house. The impact of his presence in the cinema house will never be erased and he will always be a member of this house.

After this ceremony, Arvand Dashtaray, the director of the theater, went on stage and said: Atila Pesyani was an original character, an actor with a magic toolbox who taught us not to be afraid of mistakes and in directing taught us to find our own language. And in the worst conditions, he said that he was fine, and even in his sick bed, he was the only one. He supported the youth by establishing the City Theater Workshop and I hope we can continue his way and thought.
